What type of personal data do we collect?

We collect any information you provide to us when you complete a registration form. For example, we will collect your information when you register an account with us or subscribe to our mailing list. This information might include your username, email address and other information relevant to an event or service that you’re registering for.

Your Profile Information. You give us information when you register on the Platform, including your username, email address information that you disclose in your user profile, as well as your profile image.

Communications with OG. When you report a problem with the Platform (inappropriate content, bugs, errors), respond to a survey about the quality of our Services, request assistance, or make a request to exercise your rights, we record the information that you agree to share with us or we need to respond to your request.

Information from Third Parties. You may choose to share certain data with us from third parties or through your use of the Platform, we may collect such third-party data automatically. We have set out further detail on the information we receive from third parties below:

Business Partners

If you choose to register or use the Platform using a third-party account details (e.g. Apple, Google) or login service, you will provide us or allow said login service to provide us with your username, public profile, and other possible information related to such account. If you link your account to another service, we may receive information about your use of that service.

Data related to your activity on OG: this notably includes:

Connection Data: IP address, date of registration, date of your last connection;

  • Data about how you interact with other Users: comments left on Content shared by other users.

  • Data about how you use our Services, including but not limited to upvotes, downvotes, number of post views, time of posting, etc.

Content Data We collect content that you create through our Services such as photos, videos, and comments. Note that Users who view your Content can always take a copy or screenshot of it. Therefore, we strongly recommend that you do not post any Content that you do not want to share.

Business Partners

If you choose to register to use the Platform using another platform’s account details (e.g., Apple, Google), you will provide us or allow said platform to provide us with your email address, username and public profile. If you choose to allow a third-party service to access your account, we will share certain information about you with the third party. Depending on the permissions you grant, the third party may be able to obtain your account information and other information you choose to provide.

Where you opt to share content on social media platforms, the video, username and accompanying text will be shared on that platform or, in the case of sharing via instant messaging platforms such as Whatsapp, a link to the content will be shared.

Analytics providers

We use analytics providers to help us in the optimization and improvement of the Platform.

Public Profiles

Please note that if your profile is public, your content will be visible to anyone on the Platform and may also be accessed or shared by other users as well as third parties such as search engines, content aggregators and news sites.

Law Enforcement

We will share your information with law enforcement agencies, public authorities or other organizations if legally required to do so, or if such use is reasonably necessary to:

comply with legal obligation, process or request;

enforce our Terms of Service and other agreements, policies, and standards, including investigation of any potential violation thereof;

detect, prevent or otherwise address security, fraud or technical issues; or

protect the rights, property or safety of us, our users, a third party or the public as required or permitted by law (including exchanging information with other companies and organizations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction).

Our site follows the best procedures globally to protect our clients’ data and information. Our site ensures all clients that their data will be secure with us.

How do we use our clients’ data?

We will generally notify all users of any material changes to this policy through a notice on our Platform. However, you should look at this policy regularly to check for any changes. How long do we keep hold of your information?

It is strictly forbidden to copy or paste, use or reuse anything related to the OG. Any content existing on this site belongs only to the Platform. Any person who copies, pastes, or uses any content or services of the Platform; will expose themselves or their site or their company to liability and prosecution by the administration of the site.

What are my rights under the CCPA?

This clause is only valid and legally binding if you are a party to the Platform’s Terms of Service. This clause regarding U.S. users, including California and Virginia residents, applies to Personal Information (as defined in applicable regulations) provided to the Platform by the User.

In light of the California Consumer Privacy Protection Act of 2018 (“CCPA”), we are providing this information to you as a service provider required to process your Personal Information (as defined in the applicable law), to confirm that we have adequate contractual terms in place. The term “applicable law” refers to all laws, regulations, standards, regulatory guidance and self-regulatory guidelines that may apply in relation to the management of your Data. Applicable laws include, but are not limited to, the California Consumer Privacy Protection Act (Cal. Civ. Code §1798.100 - 1798.199), or the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (SB 1392).

As a service provider, we will collect, hold, use, disclose and process your personal information only to fulfill our obligations to you under our agreement, for operational purposes previously stated in this Policy, to the exclusion of any other purpose.

As previously stated, we will not sell your personal information or disclose your personal information for commercial purposes.

We certify that we understand and comply with the restrictions and obligations set forth in Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.140(w)(2) as well as Va. SB 1392. In the event of any inconsistency or conflict between the terms and conditions of this clause and the Terms of Service or Privacy Policy, the TOS or Privacy Policy shall govern with respect to Data of individuals in the European Economic Area.
