• Who can participate in the Crypto Whisperer?

  Anyone who is registered with OG.xyz.

• How do I participate?

  Make sure you are logged into OG.xyz and choose between the day’s random selection of cryptocurrencies. Choose one and predict if the price of that crypto will go or down. We provide a starting price taken 48 hours before the ending price. You will need lock in a prediction 24 hours before the ending price’s target date and time.

• Can you give me an example?

  Sure. Let’s say that you chose Bitcoin or BTC. We provide a start price of $27,936.53 taken March 22, 2023 at 12:00 a.m. UTC from the CoinMarketCap API. You will guess if the price of Bitcoin will be above or below $27,936.53 on March 24, 2023 at 12:00 a.m UTC.

• Where are you getting your data?

  We're getting it via CoinMarketCap's API. Please note that we pull market data as close to the target start and end dates as possible, and the exact time may be off several seconds. For example, we may capture a starting price at 12:00:02 UTC and an ending price at 12:00:05 UTC. Due to the nature of the API and its functionality, there is no way for us to capture that data at exactly 12:00:00 every time.

• What if the price doesn’t change at all?

  If the price is exactly the same, you get a draw. You don't get crystals, but we won't break your streak. So, if you get Day 1 through 5 correct and miss Day 6, you'll have 32 crystals and will maintain your streak of 5 days.

• So, up to what decimal place will it be considered the same price.

  Your prediction of up or down will be measured up to 18 decimal places. If the start price and end price match up to the 18th decimal place, then you'll get a draw in that scenario regardless of your choice. Again, we think this is highly unlikely, and most likely, there will be a price difference.

• Okay, what if I miss a day or two of predictions? What happens then?

  So if you miss a day, your streak will be broken and you'll have to restart your streak. You'll still have the crystals you collected, but you won't accumulate any additional points for not entering a prediction.

• Why UTC?

  Since this event is global and crypto markets operate 24/7, we needed to choose a neutral time zone that works for everyone. UTC is Universal Time Zone. There are many time zone converters available for free. Here's one: https://savvytime.com/converter/utc.

• When will the result of my prediction come out?

  Results should come out automatically and results will be announced several minutes after ending prices have been captured.

• What do I get for getting a prediction correct? Also, what are “crystals”?

  You get "crystals." Crystals are basically points. Crystals are NOT currency in any form or manner. They CANNOT be traded at an exchange. They are NOT minted. They are just points. Your crystals will be traded in for a prize at the end of Crypto Whisperer event and will be rendered useless thereafter.

• How are “crystals” rewarded?

  Your first correct prediction will earn you 2 crystals. Every correct prediction afterwards will double the total number of crystals you have. So, for example, if you get 5 correct predictions over 6 days, you will have 32 crystals. If you get all 30 predictions correct over 30 days, you will have 1,073,741,824 crystals.

• What about completing missions? What do I get?

  Completing missions will activate a multiplier of 2x or 4x on your total. Multipliers also activate automatically and will double or quadruple your total crystal count. So, for example, if you have 5 predictions correct and completed 1 mission, you will have 64 crystals (32 multiplied by 2). For the same example, if you completed 2 missions, you will have 128 crystals or 32 crystals multiplied by 4.

• When do the 2x and 4x from missions activate?

  Automatically but note that it will take our team up to 24 hours to verify that you’ve completed the mission. The multiplier is applied to your total so it won’t matter when multiplier is activated.

• Can I send my crystals to someone?

  No. We don’t allow the transfer of crystals from one account to another account.

• How do I get the $10,000 USDT?

  Get 20 in a row correct and collect as many crystals as you can. 20 consecutive predictions will enter you into the draw for $10,000 USDT. Crystals will increase your chances of landing the $10,000 USDT grand prize.

• Ah, I joined in the middle of the event and won't be able to get 20 in a row. What do I do?

  You can still join and collect crystals. Users can exchange their crystals for a prize at the end of the event.

• Are there other prizes?

  Yes, there are other prizes. They will be announced at a later date.

• When will winners be announced?

  Winners will be notified via email and will be announced on Twitter and at OG.xyz.
